Corn Grinding Facility Opens

Through your generous support, the dream of building a facility to grind corn locally came to fruition. Kuza Project strives to help women’s associations build and manage businesses profitably to allow those businesses to operate permanently and independently from Kuza Project donor support. The corn grinding facility operators are continuing to grow and scale their businesses in ways that foster skills of business ownership and accountability, while learning the skills needed to support their families.

A large percentage of the profits from the corn grinding project are used by the women’s group to provide micro loans to association members. We have been training the women on how they can use retained earnings wisely to benefit community growth.
